People’s Choice Awards for best presentation
All presentations at
#ANZCA19 are eligible for the People’s Choice best presentation and best postgraduate presentation awards. Votes will be tabulated and awards will be presented on Friday afternoon at 3pm after all sessions have concluded, while the Anne Dunn, President’s Service and Grant Noble awards will be presented during the awards ceremony at 10:30am on Friday. Don’t forget to vote for your favourite presentation via the app!
Tickets to the Thursday evening keynote address are still available
Professor Lelia Green’s keynote address, ‘Confident, capable and world-changing: Teenagers and digital citizenship‘, will be held in the House of Representatives at 5.30pm on Thursday 4 July. Tickets are still available, but registrations must be made via the MoAD website (separate to the main ANZCA conference registration).
Have you registered for the conference dinner yet?
This year’s ANZCA conference dinner will be held at the National Press Club in Barton. If you have not yet registered for the dinner but would like to attend, tickets will be available until cob on Wendesday 3 July. Registrations can be made via the registration page.
ANZCA 2019 conference app launched
We are excited to announce that we have launched the conference app for ANZCA 2019. The app is available via the Apple App Store, Windows Phone Store or Google Play. Simply download the Conference4me app and search for ANZCA 2019.
Please ensure your presentations are compatible with PC format
If you are presenting slides during ANZCA 2019, please ensure that your presentation is compatible with PC formats. If you are a Mac user, you can save your slides in either PDF or PPT formats. We will have an AV technician on site throughout the conference to assist you with uploading your presentation prior to your session.

Staying at UC Village? Need transport to the conference venue?
If you will be staying on the UC campus during the conference and will require transport to and from the conference venue, please contact us via the contact us page on this website or at firstname.lastname@example.org to let us know so we can compile a head count over the three days.

Behind the scenes tours at MoAD
The Museum of Australian Democracy at Old parliament House (MoAD), our venue partners for ANZCA 2019, are delighted to offer free, daily tours of the building’s Press Gallery during the conference. See the conditions journalists worked under, consider the connections between the Parliament and the Press and discuss the impact of changing technologies on headlines and deadlines.
30 minute tours will run daily at 12.30pm, 3–5 July. Bookings are essential as places are limited.
Discounted tickets for ANZCA attendees to see Monet at the National Gallery of Australia
We have partnered with the National Gallery of Australia to offer ANZCA attendees 10% off the price of standard tickets to the exhibition Monet: Impression Sunrise. The discounted prices are attainable by showing your ANZCA lanyard when purchasing tickets at the gallery.
